We are actively looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our Bogota office for a 6-month contract. This person needs to be a strong English communicator. As part of the Accounting Team, this position will be responsible for assisting the finance department in creating accurate and timely financial records for the organization. Duties and Responsibilities: General Ledger: Prepare the financial records for the countries assigned by the Accounting manager LATAM. Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled or cleared monthly. Perform and maintain general ledger account reconciliations. Compose miscellaneous journal entries. Reconcile and clear suspense accounts. Reconciliation with third parties: Reconcile M&N financials with the local financial statements provided by the Outsourcing in each country. Ensure that the reconciliation parties were eliminated with the necessary adjustments/reclassifications. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field required. Experience: 1 year public or private accounting. Proficiency in MS Office (emphasis on Excel and Word). Strong interpersonal skills. Strong verbal/written communication skills in English (C1 and above). This is a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
